GARS was incorporated in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in the year 2008 with the objective of manufacturing Copper Cathode and Cobalt through leaching process. Commercial production of Copper Cathode started from 11th September' 2009. The present capacity of the plant is 25 TPD of Copper Cathode.

GARS is presently producing Copper Cathodes & Cobalt Hydroxide. Present production Capacity is 10000 MT of Cathodes & 1000 MT of Cobalt in the in the form of cobalt hydroxide. Copper & Cobalt ores are Processed by Crushing, Milling, Leaching, Filtration, Solvent Extraction & Electro-winning to get finished product.
